Ideas to Improving the Dog Park

     Here is some of the stuff I thought would be cool to put in the avalon dog park, so that the dogs don’t fight or get bored and dig more holes.

                              Additional Items that I think would improve the dog park

More benches

There are only three benches at the park right now. I would add in more benches, and maybe even a couple around the trees in the center of the park to provide shade on hot days.

Community events and advertising billboard

I would like to add a billboard to post what’s happening in the community that concerns 

dogs and owners. Some things that would/could be posted are:

• Lost Dogs
• Advertising
• Dog of the Month/ Contests
• Events 

Add Light Poles

   I would add in lighting around the park, so that the dogs and owners can stay a little later into the evening. Especially when  it starts to get dark early.

Add in Trash Cans

I would add in trash cans for regular trash. 

This helps keep the park clean and garbage from being eaten by dogs.

Add Dog inspired signs around park, and on the trees

I would add in these funny and cute signs because I want dog owners

 to enjoy themselves while at the dog park.
